Cirqlio Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Cirqlio ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cirqlio.
2. Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using online communication services under applicable law
Cirqlio operates under a strict 18+ only policy.
3. Nature of the Service
Cirqlio is a proximity-based social interaction platform that enables:
- Approximate location-based discovery
- One-to-one chat
- Voice calls
- Video calls
- Limited image sharing
Cirqlio does not verify user identities and does not guarantee the accuracy of user representations.
4. Location Data and Visibility
- Cirqlio requires device location access to operate.
- Raw GPS coordinates are processed server-side.
- Other users only see approximate distance (500m buckets) and approximate bearing (15° buckets).
- We do not expose precise coordinates to other users.
By using the Service, you consent to such processing as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Upload or distribute illegal content
- Share or solicit sexual content involving minors
- Engage in grooming, exploitation, trafficking, or abuse
- Harass, threaten, or intimidate others
- Share non-consensual intimate images
- Attempt to reverse-engineer location data
- Circumvent safety or moderation systems
- Use automated scripts or bots
- Conduct scams or fraudulent activity
Violation may result in immediate termination and referral to authorities.
6. Content Moderation & Enforcement
All uploaded content may be:
- Automatically scanned
- Temporarily quarantined
- Removed without notice
- Escalated for review
Cirqlio reserves sole discretion in enforcement decisions.
Users may report violations using in-app reporting tools.
7. Communications & Calls
- Calls require mutual acceptance.
- Cirqlio does not record calls by default.
- Recording a call without consent may violate applicable laws.
- Users are solely responsible for their communications.
- Cirqlio does not guarantee uninterrupted or high-quality call performance.
8. Digital Content & Screenshot Disclaimer
Cirqlio implements technical deterrence measures including:
- Blur-by-default media
- Press-and-hold viewing
- View-once tokens
- UI hiding on background
However, we cannot guarantee prevention of screenshots, screen recording, or external capture.
You share content at your own risk.
9. Subscriptions & Payments
Cirqlio may offer:
- Premium subscriptions
- Boost credits
- Call usage credits
Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).
By purchasing, you agree:
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
- Pricing may vary by region.
- Certain digital goods are non-refundable once used.
- Cancellation procedures are described in your account settings.
- EU consumers may have additional statutory rights.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in illegal conduct
- Present safety risks
- Violate payment policies
Termination may occur without prior notice where required for safety or legal compliance.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cirqlio disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Cirqlio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the previous 12 months.
Some jurisdictions may not allow certain limitations.
13. Governing Law
For U.S. users: Governed by the laws of Delhi.
For EU users: Mandatory consumer protections under applicable EU law apply.
Disputes may be subject to binding arbitration unless prohibited by law.
