Our radar-style interface shows you anonymous users within your vicinity, displayed as blips on a proximity map with approximate distance and bearing — never exact coordinates.
Unlike dating apps that require extensive profiles, photo galleries, and biographical essays, Cirqlio strips social interaction back to its most fundamental form: two people, nearby, choosing to talk. You pick an alias, grant location access, and you are instantly connected to the local network. No swiping. No matching algorithms. No artificial barriers between you and a genuine conversation.
How Proximity Discovery Works
When you open Cirqlio, your device shares its GPS coordinates with our server. We process these coordinates in real-time and bucket them into approximate zones — 500-meter distance ranges and 15-degree bearing sectors. This means another user might know you are "about 1 km to the northeast," but they can never pinpoint your exact street or building. Your raw coordinates are never transmitted to other users.
The system updates continuously. As people move, their position on your radar shifts. When someone leaves or closes their tab, they disappear from the network entirely. There is no history, no breadcrumb trail, and no persistent tracking. Every session is a clean slate.
Beyond Text — Voice and Video
Meeting people nearby is not just about text chat. Cirqlio supports full voice and video calling between users who mutually agree to connect. Calls require explicit acceptance from both parties — nobody can force a call on you. This creates a respectful environment where every interaction is consensual and comfortable.
You can also share images securely using our view-once system with blur-by-default protection. Images are revealed only when the recipient actively chooses to view them, and they cannot be re-opened after the first viewing. Combined with our AI-powered content moderation, this creates one of the safest anonymous sharing environments available today.
